Vermox Suspension contains the same active ingredient as Vermox Tablets – mebendazole.
All you need to do is have each family member take 5mL of the solution once – that’s all! It takes 3 days for the medicine to work all the way through the intestine and kill all the worms.
Vermox suspension is highly effective against pinworms or threadworms – the most common type of worm infection in developed countries. Other worm infections such as Roundworm, Whipworm and Hookworm may also be treated with Vermox suspension but you should seek medical advice first as these conditions can be hard to diagnose.
Why choose Vermox Suspension?
  • Pleasant tasting banana flavored liquid
  • Same dose for adults and children
  • Easy to swallow for young children
  • Take 5mL of solution once – quick, no fuss, simple
  • No weighing or dosage calculations

Results from a case-control study investigating an outbreak of Stevens-Johnson syndrome /toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN) suggested a possible relationship between SJS/TEN and the concomitant use of mebendazole and metronidazole. Further data suggesting such a drug-drug interaction are not available. Therefore, concomitant use of mebendazole and metronidazole should be avoided.
Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption or sucrose-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.
Methyl (E218) and propyl (E216) parahydroxybenzoate may cause allergic reactions which could possibly be delayed.

Each 5 ml of suspension contains 100 mg of mebendazole.
Excipients: Each 5ml also contains 500 mg of sucrose, 9 mg of methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) and 1 mg of propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216).
